Services

While being primarily a service provider in the area of multilingual translations, interpretation, editing, and transcriptions, Language Embassy, LLC is rapidly becoming a trailblazer in promoting multilingualism and cross-cultural interactions and in fostering a climate of appreciation for foreign languages and cultures in the Southeastern region of the U.S. As a Czech saying had it, “learn a new language and gain a new soul.” People who learn a foreign language are also introduced to new ways of emotional, mental, cultural, and verbal communication. They also tend to grow in compassion and respect toward individuals from another linguistic background. This is why Language Embassy also offers foreign languages classes, a mission that will prepare a new generation of translators, interpreters, and compassionate citizens of the world.

History

Language Embassy was founded and registered initially as a sole proprietorship in Coffee County, GA, in May 2007. In its second year of existence, the gross revenues doubled, and in the following year, they quadrupled.
Language Embassy, LLC was incorporated in the state of Georgia in December 2011 at the end of a year that marked its highest revenues since its inception. Language Embassy, LLC also maintains its local registration in Lowndes County, GA.

To provide quality and prompt services. To meet each client's individual needs. To promote an inclusive workplace and contribute to the community.

Business Ethics

Language Embassy. LLC is one of the few businesses in the world that do not pursue profits at any cost. Quality and customer satisfaction always take precedence over volume of revenues. Our concern for the health of the world in which we live also constitutes a priority in our work, which has led us to formulating a "Non-Compromising Policy" (see Article 3, Section 5 of our Code of Ethics). In addition to abiding by U.S. and international business laws and regulations, and by the BBB Code of Business Practices, our company has established its own Code of Ethics which we strictly observe when conducting business.

Staff

Some of our projects are executed in-house and others are outsourced to independent contractors. Language Embassy, LLC has set in place a rigorous system of screening its independent contractors who execute some of its projects. We carefully check their education background and records of their previous work. (For details on our selection criteria for linguists, see our Jobs for Linguists page.) This is a company that rewards expertise, reliability, and honesty. We do not discriminate for any reasons and do not make decisions based on pre-conceived notions. We are also known for offering people second chances and for evaluating performance in the context of all involved business and human factors.

Management

Dr. Codrina Cozma, the Founder and President of Language Embassy, LLC is a multilingual professor of English with 20 years of experience in the industry of translation and interpretation. Dr. Cozma, who managed and executed thousands of projects for an international clientele, conducts business with grace and with a high sense of responsibility. While employing and requiring perfection, the Language Embassy President also assesses tasks realistically and fairly and treats both clients and contractors with the utmost respect and honesty. As a Christian, Dr. Cozma runs her business with a human touch and builds it up on the foundation of a Scriptural motto:

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men" (Colossians 3:23, NIV).
